Just a thought.
We never know what people around us are going through. They may be battling some of life's most difficult situations. They may be dealing with cancer, unemployment and even death of a loved one. So when you pass someone by today stop and smile. Sometimes a smile can give someone that needed sense of comfort to get them through the day. It doesn't cost a thing and it helps.

All My Children
Today ; September 23, 2011 marks an end of an era All My Children will air its last episode on ABC. I remember growing up watching this show off and on most of my life. Your stories made us cry, laugh, smile and love. We fell in love with these characters whom the actors brought to life so wonderfully. I remember Jeff Martin and Mary Kennicott when he was finally free of Erica and married Mary the great love of his life only to have her die not very long after. Linc Tyler and Kitty Shea,Phil Brent and Tara Martin are some examples of great couples on this show in the very early years. The 80's brought us two great super couple Greg Nelson and Jenny Gardner and Jessie Hubbard and Angie Baxter. I think they will go down as the best super couples on All My Children ever. No soap is complete without the villains. Palmer trying to break up Nina and Cliff, Erica breaking up Phil and Tara and who will ever forget Liza Colby coming between Jenny and Greg. What can't we say about Erica Kane I could try to list all of her married names over the years but that may take all day to look up. When they brought Kendall and Bianca on as her children we saw another more loving side of Erica Kane.I hope the last episode has Erica marrying Jackson Montgomery. Also happy endings for Kendall and Zach, Ryan and Greenlee and Tad and Dixie. Thank you All My Children for entertaining us for over 40 years. We laughed with you, cried with you and grew up with you. I would like to wish all the actors and actresses on All My Children all the best in their careers whether they stay with All My Children as they air on the net or if they are going on to other things. Thanks. for the memories.

Days
Some days are easier to get through then others. I have to try and remind myself that what I can control and try to improve I should and things that I have no control of to let go and have faith that it will get better.Being stressed and worrying is not going to change things. It's just life and sometimes life is frustrating and sometimes it gets better.

In life things don't always go the way we wish they would. Sometimes we fall madly in love and the person we think loves us too doesn't . The relationship ends and you feel hurt and betrayed. But when you look back at it when a relationship doesn't work out it doesn't mean that the person who didn't love us the way we wanted was bad or wrong. Every one has a right to love or not and that's one thing you can't force yourself to feel if you don't. It's worse to string a person along making them think you love them when you don't. In the long run that will hurt both persons in the relationship. When things don't work out it means that somewhere out there is someone who is meant for you. It might be someone you never met yet or it might be someone you already know and friendship might blossom into love. Who knows. Life is a mystery with some great surprises along the way. The main thing is you need to be open to new possibilities. Also you need to let go of the past and anger that keeps you from moving forward.

Life
Life is constantly filled with making decisions. In order to make the right ones you sometimes learn from the wrong ones.Either way life is filled with lessons that hopefully we can learn from. Always do your best and try not to live with regret. The worse thing is to be still and not do anything out of fear. Life is meant to be enjoyed and to take risks.. You can't gain and win at life if you are afraid to play the game and live all of your life with all of your heart.

In Honor of 9/11 in my own words
As the anniversary of 9/11 is approaching I just wanted to say that it been 10 years where we haven't forgotten how people lost their lives that day. Because of an act of terror people lives will never be the same again. To the ones who lost love ones that day I pray that you have been able to find some kind of peace in your lives . To all the heroes that day I stand as among millions of people on a long line in awe of how you risk your lives that day to try and save as many as possible. We take for granted the true heroes of each and every day. Fireman and police men who risk their lives daily to make our world a little safer. Our military men and woman who go to foreign lands in order to keep our nation safe from harm not knowing if they will come back home to their family and love ones I honor you as all of us do as true heroes too. I remember before 9/11 we were a nation that took every day for granted not worrying really about our safety but since that day ten years ago we have become a nation of people who now do worry about our safety and security. We don't take life or our way of life for granted any longer. We are thankful I think more then before for all the people who risk their lives so that we can live each day without constant fear and anxiety. There are not enough words for me to show my appreciation for all the heroes out there who not only responded the day of 9/11 but for days and days later helping to try and find any survivors and helping find bodies so that love ones could have some sort of closer to this horrible event.. Thank you to all the heroes out there and also my nephew Sean who was there trying to save lives. We honor you and respect you always.

The Challenge
Every day is a challenge. Sometimes very small challenges like getting up in the morning and going to work. Especially when you rather spend the day sleeping and not doing anything. Sometimes it's difficult ones that you don't think you will get through. But always we have to remain strong and determine and keep moving forward.. All challenges both great and small can and should be taken and sometimes we prevail at it.

Just Another Day
Life is filled with most days being just ordinary. Most of our lives are filled with moments of great joy. Our first crush, our first kiss , our first love. Wedding days, the birth of my son; it goes on and on. But moments like this are rare and are to be treasured. We sometimes expect everyday to have adventures and it does have it fair share but incredible, lasting moments are rare jewels not found often. So remember those great memories in your heart always and enjoy today even if nothing exciting happens it's a gift and make the most of it.

Love
Love is a funny thing. Some people are lucky enough to find love in the form of their soul mates early in life. Others take forever to find their one true love. And some of us never truly find that one of a kind love or if we think we did it eludes us. For those who have lost the love that they thought would last a life time I say don't give up. I know it's hard especially when the person we loved with all of our heart has found someone else. The only way to help get through it is to think that everything happens for a reason. If that one true love didn't turn out to be it's because somewhere out there is someone who is meant for you and you alone. Never let yourself get down about something you can't control. When you find the person who is meant for you both of you will know it with ever fiber of your being. So in the meantime let go of past loves and let yourself be open to new possibilities.. One day you will laugh at all the memories of ex-boyfriends that you thought you could never live without especially when you are cuddled up with your one and only soul mate. Keep believing and don't look for love it will find you when you are not looking.

life
Just a thought. Wouldn't life be better if everyone just laughed more, cried less , sang more , loved more and just lived. Smiling and just trying to be happy is half the battle.Forgive and let go of old issues because the person you hurt the most with holding grudges is yourself. Everyone go out and enjoy your life.
Sisters
My sister Ann Marie is having an operation today on her knees. Keep the prayers going that everything will go smoothly. Also yesterday my sister Maureen and I took a ride to Brooklyn and saw my sister Mary who we haven't seen in over three years. It was great to see her. Even though she has lot of health issues I feel that it was so important to see her and let her know how much we love her and always will.

I don't know if everyone has heard of this web site but if you haven't I totally recommend it. It's a way to be creative and have a voice. Lots of really talented writers are on that site. Whenever I have something published and then I begin reading other articles I feel like wow I have so much to learn and too improve.
Just random thoughts
Ever have one of those days where you just feel like crawling under your sheets and not dealing with anything or anyone. Just feeling down. I hate that feeling. Could be that I haven't slept much in the last 48 hours. Maybe all together less then five hours.
